Alexander Arabians congratulates Layla Neuroth on her purchase of ALX Naseem Ashquar. Layla was looking for an Arabian she could use to ride trails and enter into long distance competition endurance rides. Naseem has been in training with Shayan Richet and Desiree Davilla, being exposed extensively to all types of trail experiences, water, traffic, and many dressage moves, too. Layla spent time working with Desiree and her assistant Grace Chang learning the queues for Naseem. She then took him home to Forestville, CA and has had him out on the trails over the past few weeks. |

TALARIA FARMS and MARION (Missy) HEAD of RAINMAKER ARABIANS are pleased to announce the purchase of the 2005 Straight Egyptian stallion, SCAPA. Since April of 2017, Scapa has resided at Talaria, and during that time both Allison and Curt grew to cherish this beautiful silver stallion—for his charisma, courage, beauty and gentility. Missy Head has loved Scapa for many years, and wished to be a part of the stewardship of this very special horse. |

Dick and Pat Platzek hosted a cook-out for members at their farm, El Masr Arabian Stud. Members met to discuss future possible events for Wisconson Egyptian Arabian Horse Association (WEAHA), and to celebrate the cameraderie that is the hallmark of the Wisconsin Egyptian breeders. Fourteen members were in attendance, and all contributed to make the gathering a success; sharing personal recipes for food and drinks, and assisting the hosts. Ann Dorsett of Dorsett Farms in Woolwich Township, NJ, hosted a Free Healthy Horse Clinic on April 8th. The clinic, organized by The Mid-Atlantic Arabian Horse Association included a lecture and instruction by Dr. Carey Williams, Associate Extension Specialist and Associate Professor in the Department of Animal Sciences at the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences at Rutgers University. |
