Glenn Stevenson is pleased to announce that GS Arabians recently welcomed their first foal of the year! Glenn states, “GS Salena (FA Ali /Bey x Shakira AKA), born on January 20th, is an exceptionally beautiful filly.  Both mare and foal are doing great, and we could not be happier.”

Lone Star Arabians is proud to announce that their trainer, Kimberly Shutts, has successfully completed the Arabian Horse Association Judges’ Test and is awaiting her official certification.  The future is bright as Kimberly undertakes this next chapter in her already successful career.

The Pyramid Society is saddened to announce the untimely passing of Gerard “Jerry” Dumas on January 8, 2017.  Jerry, along with his wife Brenda, of Rose of Cairo Arabians in Peralta, New Mexico, first joined the Society in 2007.  Jerry was a beloved member of the New Mexico Straight Egyptian Alliance, and all of the group’s gatherings were made much more enjoyable by his engaging wit, charming personality, and fascinating conversation.   Jerry was quick to tell those he met that he was not a “horse person” but was involved with Egyptian Arabians because he

The Egyptian Arabian community lost a true friend and dedicated supporter on Wednesday, January 4th with the passing of Martha Jean Murdoch of Rocaille Ranch in Cleburne, Texas.

John and Jeri Merryman wish to congratulate Dr. Lucille Dietrick on the purchase of their beautiful, two-year-old, grey filly Nadirs Kameela.  Lucille expressed that this filly reminds her of Kameela’s sire, Ramses Mishaal Nadir, now in Qatar, and his dam Ramses Minx.  Kameela was proudly shown to two prestigious titles at the Egyptian Event: 2015 Reserve Champion Straight Egyptian Yearling Futurity Filly and 2016 Reserve Champion ATH Egyptian Fillies/Mares. Nadirs Kameela will remain at Arabians Ltd.

Judith Forbis writes, “Sincere thanks to the All Nations Cup committee for honoring me with their first LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD at the 2016 All Nations Cup Show held in Aachen, Germany last week. It was indeed an honor to receive this award - and I accept it not for myself, but on behalf of all those who have made the Ansata bloodlines a household word in the Arabian horse community worldwide for more than 50 years.

Pat & Dick Platzek would like to congratulate the new owner of Madheen al Masr, Miguel Muzquiz of Las Golondrinas in Mexico City, Mexico. They would also like to congratulate Mary Ellen Chavez of Sonrisa Farms, Los Lunas, NM on the purchase of Mikeen El Masr, Madheen’s multi-champion son. They are so happy to have found two absolutely great homes for two great stallions. Pat states, “Although it was bittersweet for Dick and myself, we are looking forward to the success of the foals each breeder will attain.”
