Amanda Hammack of Lone Star Arabians writes to recap their recent Fall Farm Conference, “Living Life with Passion”. "It was a huge success with an interested, fun and energetic group," she reports, "The day started with a continental breakfast and a focus on working Arabians. Demonstrations of Reining by the Goslin Nix Training Center, green breaking by Kimberly Shutts with Wildfire LSA really was a great start to the day. The guests were next introduced to the staff and family that make LSA a success and shown the facility. The morning continued with the history of how Lone Star Arabians got started with the knowledge given to us by trainer Tom McNair of Gleannloch Farms."

Educational films and presentations about the Egyptian Arabian horse were given as background information to the guests of the Farm Conference before they were treated to a presentation of the results of the Lone Star breeding program - with the horses in center ring. "Three generations of mares, stallions and foals showed off the splendor that is the Egyptian Arabian! The conference guests were able to see the results of our breeding to a select group of stallions that has allowed us to show and market a successful group of show horses."

Guests of the conference then enjoyed a light lunch ring side where they could relax and watch a presentation of Western Pleasure performance riding and a colorful, full throttle presentation of the Arabian horse in full Costume. This was followed by a presentation of the marketing of the Egyptian Arabian and the Tax benefits of investing. In addition, correct conformation was studied ring side with mares and fillies, before a wine and cheese tasting with favorite horses being presented. "The day ended with the showing of our stallion Patriot LSA in halter and at liberty. We enjoyed the opportunity to share our passion for breeding, working horses and the facility with all who attended. We invite everyone to come by and visit when you are in town."
