Envision this horse show backdrop: A centuries-old German castle, impeccably maintained with beautifully manicured gardens and the storied white swan gliding along in the surrounding moat. No doubt you’d picture blue skies with a floating white cloud or two, mild temperatures, along with tree-lined showgrounds. AND of course you’d want the opportunity to watch horses being presented in natural light on the lush green grass from the advantage of your ring-side tented viewing area. Add enthusiastic crowds, excellent food and additional facilities for social gatherings, artistic vendors, an impressive number and equally-impressive quality of Straight Egyptian Arabian horses of all ages (including performance demonstrations), and you’ve just described the Egyptian Event Europe, held August 26 and 27 at the Castle Dyck, near Dusseldorf, Germany. Show organizers Hilke Hein, Bettina Von Kameke and The Pyramid Society Europe are to be commended for staging such a beautifully organized show. We invite you to enjoy the highlights of the 2017 show, presented by The Arabian Horse Global Network.
