Anna Bishop.jpg

We wanted the joy to last forever!  But after more than three decades of love and devotion to The Pyramid Society and each of its members, Anna Bishop has announced her decision to take a well-deserved retirement to spend quality time with friends, family and her adored grandchildren.

No organization could have asked for more than what Anna has given.  Beyond her professional competence and dedication, she epitomizes the phrase “above and beyond”, not only with her selfless loyalty to the Society and its mission, but also by sharing the joys and sorrows of our membership as if they were her own family.  Throughout the years, Anna has excelled in every regard, but is particularly known for her extraordinary ability to make each person with whom she comes in contact feel valued and respected.  In return, she is adored not only by our members, but in the Arabian horse community worldwide.

First joining the Society in 1985 and serving as Programs Coordinator shortly thereafter, Anna was named Executive Director in 1995, and in this vital capacity has represented the Society around the globe for over 22 years.

In keeping with her tradition of generosity and graciousness, Anna has agreed to stay on with the Society through the 2018 Egyptian Event to ensure a smooth transition to a new Executive Director.

I know that I join all of our Members, Board of Directors and Trustees in expressing our enduring gratitude to Anna as our dearly beloved Executive Director and wishing her all the best in her new adventure of retirement next fall.
