2008 Pyramid Society Performance Horse Award Winners:
What does working hunter, western pleasure, ladies side saddle and stallion halter all have in common?
The answer is that they are just some of the disciplines in which your top winners of the inaugural Pyramid Society’s Performance Horse Award Program competed.
The 2008 Inaugural Pyramid Society Performance Horse Award program winners are:
- Dal-Apollo (Sea Ben Ben Bilal x Rudaynah) 1994 gelding owned by Allan Ehrlick of Milestone, Campellville, Ontario - 512 points (includes 4 National Championships and 1 Reserve Champion awards)
- Shy Gayfeen++++// (Safeen x Gayleen RCA) 1998 stallion owned by Cori Wilson of Kelowna, BCCanada – 252 points
- Aga Gamaan (*Gamaan X Akira Hassan) 2000 stallion owned by Donnie & Yvonne Jones, Hackberry Arabians, Manvel, Texas – 137 points
- The Bandera (Alixir x Arabella MCA) 2003 stallion owned by Tom or Gail Chasteen and Bill or Gina Barron, Rocky Face, Georgia – 101 points
- TF Tsanzibar (Botswana x Woodhill Tsabrina) 2002 stallion owned by Allison G. Mehta,Talaria Farms, Atlanta, Georgia – 72 points
The actual dollar amount each winner will receive is presently being calculated and the winners will be notified of the amount and the checks will be mailed to the winners by the end of March 2009.
The Awards recognize the Top Five Finishers. However, each and very participant is a winner for venturing out there and showing off the capabilities of their Egyptian, Egyptian-Sired/Egyptian-Related/Egyptian-Bred Arabians. Congratulations to all who participated.
