2018 PERFORMANCE HORSE AWARD PROGRAM WINNERS Jun 19th 2019

The Egyptian Arabian Performance Horse Award Program is designed to support and promote the versatility of those Straight Egyptian and Egyptian Sired/Bred horses competing throughout North America in a wide range of performance disciplines.

From 4-H to the 100 mile endurance horse and everything in between, our participants have proven how versatile the Egyptian Arabian horse is.  Stop by the Performance Horse Award Program booth on the east side of the covered arena for more information on this exciting program.

REGION 9 SUCCESS FOR LONE STAR ARABIANS Jun 11th 2019

Lone Star Arabians congratulates new rider Hayden Blassingham on her successes at Region 9 Championship Horse Show riding the Straight Egyptian mare, Star Of Passion LSA. Hayden and Star of Passion LSA won the Reserve Championship in Western Pleasure JTR 13 and under, and went Top 5 in Western Pleasure Select rider JTR 13 and under.

OFFICIAL STRAIGHT EGYPTIAN CERTIFICATION REQUIRED May 17th 2019

All Straight Egyptian horses participating in the 2019 Egyptian Event MUST be certified as Straight Egyptian by The Pyramid Society. Owners are responsible for purchasing official certification through The Pyramid Society prior to or with show entry. Certification purchased during the show will incur an additional late fee of $10.00 per certificate. NOTE: Although The Pyramid Society will make every effort to provide Certification for post-entered horses during the show, this cannot be guaranteed.

NEWS FROM THE BOARD Apr 16th 2019

Plans to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Society, beginning with our educational lecture and anniversary toast in Scottsdale were an important topic at the January Board meeting.   Historical photos and films are being reviewed and a wonderful selection of Society memorabilia will be offered at this year’s silent auction.

I recently realized it has been just over six months since my final transition to Executive Director took place.  The time has flown by in a flurry of activity, and while my mind is still full of future ideas and possibilities, I had to reflect that six months is but the blink of an eye in our Society history…..so let’s turn back the clock…

Zajaddi Egyptian Arabians to Host Equine Photography Workshop Apr 9th 2019

Duane & Diana Cantey of Zajaddi Egyptian Arabians are proud to be celebrating 20 years of breeding Straight Egyptian Arabian horses. As part of their dedication to the breed, they are pleased to be hosting this equine photography workshop at their farm on June 29th in Mount Vernon, Arkansas.  Kim Boyd Vickery will lead the workshop on how to photograph beautiful Arabian horses and models in natural light to produce fine art images!
