Welcome to The Pyramid Society. Founded in 1969, this is the world's most enduring Arabian horse breeders' organization of its kind. Pyramid Society members are an international group, now numbering in the hundreds. They enjoy exciting, rewarding, and often downright amazing programs and opportunities for horses and their humans. The Society's stated mission: the preservation, perpetuation and promotion of the Straight Egyptian Arabian horse, is always at the fore. Newcomers will find that the Pyramid Society offers an inspired array of horse showings, educational seminars, youth activities, recreational adventures thrilling or relaxing (your choice), casual and formal social gatherings, abundant informational and research materials, travels far and near, and much more.

The Egyptian Event, now entering its 32nd year, is the world's largest annual showcase of the Egyptian Horse. This international gathering, held annually in early June at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Ky., attracts Egyptian Arabian horses and enthusiasts from six of the world's seven continents. The world's finest Egyptian Arabians have won more than $2 million in prize monies at the Egyptian Event since its 1981 inception. Gorgeous horses are exhibited, bought, sold, and adored at every year's Event, and breeding programs begun, vindicated and savored, like fine wine. Friendships are made, prestigious awards are won, artworks are exhibited, bought and sold, memorable days and evenings are spent, and everyone seems to come away a little better than before.
