Talaria Horses Succeed at Thanksgiving Show
This year Talaria took a small string to the Thanksgiving show in Tampa, FL. Once again, Botswana sons proved that pretty and performance do mix! TF Afrikhan Gold, proving that the Egyptian Event is not the only show at which he is capable of winning multiple championships, was both Champion Jr. Hunter Pleasure Horse and Champion Hunter Pleasure Adult Amateur to Ride Horse. Afrikhan Gold also won his Gelding Halter Class against several quality geldings, shown to the win by Bryant Wilson, Mike's talented young son.
Brother TF Afrikhan Magik was the Reserve Champion Jr. Western Pleasure Horse. Peri's tireless commitment to these two Botswana sons will serve them very well as they turn the page from their "formative" years to their next chapters and placements with just the right amateur owners.
Not to be outdone by his younger brothers (by two years), TF Tsanzibar was Champion Ladies Side Saddle Horse in an all disciplines class, beating three talented Country English Pleasure horses. Peri added that crown after having previously won the Open WP Reserve Championship on "T-Bar".
The beautiful TF Tamarind (also by Botswana) was Reserve Champion Mare (as a two-year old), in another very competitive class.
