State Flags To Be Displayed At Egyptian Event - Member Participation Needed

Dear Members,

The Pyramid Society is certainly a worldly organization with members in 41 different states and 16 different countries. Throughout the years the various international flags have been exhibited at the Egyptian Event along with the US flag, collectively representing all our US members. This year, however, the 40^th Anniversary Celebration Committee would like to expand those flags to include state flags from every state where there are current members. These state flags will be part of Saturday evening’s celebratory ceremonies. However, in order to make this happen, we’re asking for your assistance.

** If you have a state flag from your specific state that is 3x5 and in good shape, would you be willing to send it to The Pyramid Society for this purpose? If so, it should be mailed to The Pyramid Society, 4067 Iron Works Parkway, Ste. 2, Lexington, Kentucky 40511 by May 1st. Please denote the specific state on the box.

** Would you be willing to donate $50 toward the purchase of flags and poles?

** We’re also inviting the donors to carry in their respective state flags as part of the ceremonies on Saturday evening, June 6^th? Would you also be willing to do this? (For uniformity, we’re asking everyone to wear black pants and a black shirt.)

We hope you’ll be the first to display your state pride by pledging to either send your state flag or donating money for the purchase of it. We’re very fortunate to have multiple members in most states; thus we ask that you check our website www.pyramidsociety.org to obtain a listing of states in which commitments have been received.

Let’s plan to proudly display our state pride at this year’s Egyptian Event by having every one of our 41 states represented as well as our 16 different countries.
