Sofia of Sinan goes to Georgia!

Frankie and Senator Rick Laible of Nez Perce Arabians, and Lisa Abraham, of Zahir Arabians, would like to congratulate Mike and Kristin Gritton, of Atlanta, Georgia, on their recent acquisition of the yearling filly, Sofia of Sinan. Sofia is out of the gorgeous Thee Desperado daughter Desperados Princess (X Sammars Gift), owned by Zahir Arabians, and by Mishaal HP, owned by Arabians Ltd. Sofia is the last horse bred by the Laibles, who have produced countless top ten horses and are, most notably, the breeders of Grand Champion Mare Thee Phoenixx (Thee Infidel X Minstrils Mist) and Grace of Sinan (Mishaal HP X Sammars Gift).

We would like to extend a warm welcome to Mike and Kristin into our Straight Egyptian community. Earlier in the year, they purchased the yearling filly DMG Valentina, from DMG Arabians. Valentina is a beautiful, very correct, upright chestnut filly, who combined with Sofia of Sinan, is going to give the Grittons a strong foundation for future breeding success. Like Sofia of Sinan, Valentina is also the last progeny of a successful breeding program.

After the filly who first made them fall in love with the breed and gave them dreams for the future, Mike and Kristin have named their Straight Egyptian breeding program "Valentina's Arabians." In addition to these two yearling fillies, Mike and Kristin have leased the Thee Infidel daughter, Asha (out of Minstrils Lyric).  She is currently in foal to the exciting young Kenz Noor son, Jaleel ABC (X Zahara Shariah, an Ansata Omar Halim daughter) owned by Mario and Sandy Colangelo of Star View Farm in Bronston, Kentucky.
