Offering Aide to Egyptian Arabians in North Texas
The Pyramid Society wishes to thank members and all individuals who have offered assistance towards the care of horses removed from Renazans Arabians in Pilot Point, Texas. During such unfortunate circumstances, it is comforting to know that fellow Arabian enthusiasts will eagerly step up and prioritize the health and safety of the horses first and foremost. Currently, all horses are under the care of the Humane Society of North Texas (HSNT). With the assistance of local horse owners and Pyramid Society members the horses have ample feed and health care for the time being, but as time passes the HSNT will be in need of further generous contributions.
Donations to the general Humane Society of North Texas can be made at
http://www.hsnt.org/help_hsnt.php. Also, should the horses be awarded to the HSNT, they will be placed in foster and permanent homes. Further information on the adoption process may be found at http://www.hsnt.org/.
The Arabian Horse Rehoming Resource is establishing a fund exclusively for these 76 horses and is currently accepting donations. Brenda Laurel, an Arabian owner and one of the principals in this rescue group from North Texas, along with Sandy Gramholt are working closely with the HSNT.
