Imperial ImSirdar Celebrates His 25th Birthday!

Imperial ImSirdar (Ansata Imperial X Imperial Sonbesjul) celebrates a milestone this year. Sirdar, who is owned by Ed and Merrie Aiken, Cedar Ridge Farm Egyptian Arabians in Frederick, MD, will turn 25 years old February 11. The bay straight Egyptian stallion was bred by Imperial Egyptian Stud and has been with the Aiken family since 1988. Among his achievements are several wins in Class A halter and three championships in dressage at the 2002 Egyptian Event. His most accomplished foal, daughter CDRS Farah Moniet, won Regional championships in hunter pleasure and unanimous Egyptian Event and Class A championships in Western pleasure. Sirdar's 2008 son, Cedars Mojave, will take his sire's place as principal stallion.
