Hardrock Legacy Acres Welcomes First Straight Egyptian Foal
Hardrock Legacy Acres' Rebecca "Becky" and Megan Lustig welcomed the arrival of their first Straight Egyptian foal this summer out of Grace of Sinan (Mishaal HP x Sammars Gift). Instead of showing at the Event, Grace was at Purdue University Veterinary Hospital, and on June 8th - while the Event was in full swing - she foaled a colt by the stallion Hadidi (Norus x Hebbet Allah by *Morafic). Megan is in her fourth and final year at the Veterinary Hospital and was with Grace when she foaled.
Becky writes, "We are extremely pleased with the cross, and all that Megan would tell me until I went to pick them up was that Grace way outdid herself. Now we wait and see how he "grows" up. Grace seems to always amaze us!"
Megan will graduate in May and will be applying for an equine internship at ESMS in Texas, Southwest Equine Medical & Surgical Center in Scottsdale, Idaho Equine in Nampa, San Luis Rey Equine Hospital in California, and the Equine Medical Center of Ocala. "We are anxiously waiting to hear if Megan will be accepted to one of the practices. Then in June we hope to return Grace to the show ring and introduce her Hadidi son. We look forward to the Event in 2012!"
