Congratulations to Ali Mutazz & Samrah Wi Helwa Nejm

Whitehaven trainer Trisha Dingle took two straight Egyptian Arabians to the Western Carolinas Arabian Horse Association Spring Show held in Clemson, SC on April 1-3. The stunning chestnut stallion ALI MUTAZZ (Imperial Baarez x Moniet Fernazz), owned by Tony & Christine Natelli, was named Reserve Champion Sport Horse Stallion after placing 2nd in his age group. "Ali" missed the championship by just 1/10 of a point! The following day he competed in dressage, scoring 60 and 63% in Training Level tests 1 & 2 and placing 3rd both times. This was his first time competing at this level, and these scores promise great things to come.

Trisha also showed SAMRAH WI HELWA NEJM (Botswana x Curundu Samiyah), a beautiful black 2-year-old filly owned by Patrea Pabst of Beaver Creek Arabians. This was "Sami's" first time showing, and she did excellent with just four weeks of training at Whitehaven, winning Sport Horse Mares 2 & under (and missing out at Champion by only 3/10 of a point!).

We are very pleased with the results from this weekend, and are excited about our show prospects this season. While Sami has returned home to finish growing up and spend some time just being a horse, Ali will continue to compete this year as well as stand at Whitehaven Plantation. He will join other dressage and sport horses competing in Arabian and all breed shows this year. Whitehaven has an opening available for training, as well as a number of horses for sale and stallions standing at stud.
