Our new e-mail address is Laura.Graves@bslf-online.org and again we love hearing from you and of your activities.

Growth of this exciting program is continuing, even though it is summer and everyone is suppose to be on vacation!  This program is so very exciting and gaining exposure, with your help.  Soon this will not be the best kept secret!   Monty Roberts has most generously posted information about this program on his web site and we are most appreciative for several volunteers have responded.

Mississippi had a most successful introduction to the BSLF last Thursday with all schools represented enrolling in the program!  In addition, progress was made in a partnership with 4H groups everywhere, details to follow as the ideas take shape.

The newest state of South Carolina is gaining momentum as several people are now aware of the availability of this and are sharing with school administrators and horse enthusiast volunteers.

Louisiana will host the first introduction to the BSLF tomorrow at Carousel Farms with a demonstration by Bonny Barry and her talented horses, a Georgian Grande, Val, along with Clyde, a rescue, you guessed it, Clydesdale.

Georgia is another area where several people have learned of the program and would like to see it in schools in their area.

Please let us know if you would like to become active as there is a need for an hour of volunteer time or as much as you like.  We need you and welcome your ideas.

Tip:  Banana peel applied to bug bites alleviates itching!!

We sincerely hope that the summer is fantastic and would love to hear of your activities.

Wishing you a grand August, and hope that you are enjoying it somewhere exciting!

Cheers,

Laura and Gene
