The first half of 2 011 brought many highlights for Pyramid Society members, Charles Niman and Carey Holladay, of SE Legacy Bloodstock.

In February 2011, SE Legacy Bloodstock acquired a new 26-acre horse farm conveniently located less than 45 minutes from the Nashville airport. The new farm offers easy highway access for visitors and allows the couple to expand their breeding program. A new 20-stall barn is in the works!

SE Legacy Bloodstock welcomed Bint Mareekh Osaia to their breeding program in March 2011. On lease initially from Khepera Arabians, Osaia is in foal to SEL Marzuq for a March 2012 foal. Charles and Carey have been so impressed with Osaia, that they have recently exercised their option to purchase the mare.

June 2011 brought their program three beautiful colts, including SEL Trifekta (pending) by Egyptian Event ChampionStallion, EP Vega, out of their prized broodmare, Bint Aleesah. Plans are already under way to show Trifekta at the 2013 Egyptian Event.

In July 2011, SE Legacy Bloodstock welcomed Amer Shahed (Imperial Shehaab x Imperial Kameesha) to their stallion line up. On lease from Yorklyn Arabians, Shahed will stand at stud for the 2011-2013 breeding season. As if one great new stallion was not enough, Charles Niman and Nader Arabians combined forces to acquire the 2010 colt, Amer Maarouf (Mishaal HP x Infidels Mist MC), an ultra typey 3/4 brother to Scapa!

2011 has been an exciting and fast-paced year for the SE Legacy Bloodstock breeding program and we aren't done yet! For more information, please visit their web site at www.selegacy.com.
