Anna Bishop Attends International Equestrian Festival in Qatar
Anna Bishop, Executive Director of The Pyramid Society, was honored to accept an invitation from Al Shaqab, Member of the Qatar Foundation, to attend the 20th International Equestrian Festival from February 20-24 in Doha, Qatar. This exceptional show was held at the Racing and Equestrian Clu
b under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani, Special Adviser to the Emir. The beauty, skills, agility and rich heritage of Purebred Arabian horses were showcased during the competition, with exhibitors from UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar. Anna was also honored to learn the show organizers in Kuwait knew of her invitation to visit Qatar and thus extended an invitation for her to attend their Second Annual Show in Kuwait, held from February 16-18 at the Bait Al Arab Kuwait State Stud in Safir. Visitors from USA, Italy, Scandinavia, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, Bahrain, the UAE and Saudi Arabia traveled to Kuwait to attend the show, which featured show entries of 276 horses – most of whom were Straight Egyptian Arabians.
