Premier & Showcase Art Auction Items

The 2010 Egyptian Event is certainly a year to celebrate the important role art plays in the Arabian horse industry! An integral part of the annual Egyptian Event is The Pyramid Society's Art Auction.  It is the primary fundraiser for The Pyramid Society, which helps us fund many of the very important activities and programs that promote the Egyptian Arabian horse. It is made possible by the generous support of our wonderful artist and donor friends.  Our auction is comprised of two categories of donations: the Premier and the Showcase auctions. The Premier Auction is comprised of pieces by artists, which received an invitation from the Art Auction committee.  These items are beautifully displayed throughout the Event and then auctioned live as part of the Gala and Fundraiser.  The Showcase Auction is a widely popular silent auction, which is ongoing through out the Event, and is comprised of original art pieces as well as other unique items and services.

Below is list of 2010 participating artists, samples of their work and biographical information. Feel free to browse this list and pick out your favorites! Donations will be ongoing throughout the months leading up to the Egyptian Event, so check back often for updates and additional pieces.

If you are interested in donating an item for the Art Auction, please contact Rachael Brown at rachael@pyramidsociety.org.
