Ken Drake is an architect by training and a lifelong artist. Ken’s early work began with landscape and portraits in oil & acrylic. Later his pen-and-ink style evolved as a way capture his memories of the places he had been while traveling. Once introduced to the equine world, initially through his wife’s love of horses, and the purchase of their first straight Egyptian Arabian, Ken began to express his new found love of horses through his study of the anatomy, movement and character of horses in his sketches.

Once a childhood hobby, Ken has used his passion for art and his love of horses as a creative balance to the pace and business of corporate architecture.
