The 2007 Egyptian Event saw the return of the Juried Art Competition as part of the Showcase Auction. This delightful addition brought with it an onslaught of breathing taking art entries, all vying for the 12 available awards. The winners of 8 of the honors were decided by a judge, Shelley Hunter – both a sculptor and the Executive Director of the American Academy of Equine Art. The second portion determined three of the awards through ballots cast by registered bidders.
