"Everything You Can Do With Your Egyptian Arabian Horse"

Covered Arena, Kentucky Horse Park

The Egyptian Arabian is a versatile animal. Even as its original role as a war-horse has become extinct, it excels in performance competition as well as in the halter arena. Dressage…Western…Endurance…Costume…Hunt Seat…Driving. In all these and more, the Egyptian Arabian’s intelligence, disposition and native athleticism suit it for competition; a point being proven at Arabian and Open competitions throughout the country where Egyptian Arabians are winning titles as well as the praise and affection of show goers.

In this morning seminar, several well-known horsemen from the Egyptian Arabian community will discuss and demonstrate “everything you can do with your Egyptian Arabian.”

"Reflecting on the Prince's Dream"
Prince Mohammed Ali Tewfikit and the Modern-day Egyptian Horse World Wide
Presented by Joe Ferriss, Historian

Patrons' Lounge, Kentucky Horse Park

Many people do not realize that (aside from the Babson and Brown breeding), the Halima line and the Moniet El Nefous lines, among others - including American-bred bloodlines such as Fadjur and Tavelers Rest - also descend significantly from stock bred by Prince Mohammed Ali. From what we know of the Prince’s palace, art collection and writings, one can discover that much classic Arabian type can be traced to his bloodlines and thinking. This is a presentation that all Egyptian breeders will find exciting and informative.
