"Everything You
Can Do With Your Egyptian Arabian Horse" |
|
| |
Covered Arena,
Kentucky Horse Park The Egyptian Arabian is a
versatile animal. Even as its original role as a war-horse has
become extinct, it excels in performance competition as well as in
the halter arena. Dressage…Western…Endurance…Costume…Hunt
Seat…Driving. In all these and more, the Egyptian Arabian’s
intelligence, disposition and native athleticism suit it for
competition; a point being proven at Arabian and Open competitions
throughout the country where Egyptian Arabians are winning titles as
well as the praise and affection of show goers.
In this morning seminar, several well-known horsemen from the
Egyptian Arabian community will discuss and demonstrate “everything
you can do with your Egyptian Arabian.” |

"Reflecting
on the Prince's Dream"
Prince Mohammed Ali Tewfikit and the Modern-day Egyptian Horse
World Wide
Presented by Joe Ferriss, Historian |
|
|
Patrons' Lounge,
Kentucky Horse Park
Many people do not realize that (aside from the
Babson and Brown breeding), the Halima line and the Moniet El Nefous
lines, among others - including American-bred bloodlines such as
Fadjur and Tavelers Rest - also descend significantly from stock
bred by Prince Mohammed Ali. From what we know of the Prince’s
palace, art collection and writings, one can discover that much
classic Arabian type can be traced to his bloodlines and thinking.
This is a presentation that all Egyptian breeders will find exciting
and informative.

“Authentic Naming of the Arabian Horse” - A Guide to Arabian
Horse Names and Their Meanings
with Bachir Bserani, author of Authentic Arabian Horse Names |
|
| |
Patrons' Lounge,

Naming the
Arabian foal is an important process that requires thought, care,
and consideration, if we are to honor the Arabian horse of today as
they have been honored for centuries past. This seminar builds on
the successful recent publication, Authentic Arabian Horse Names,
drawing on the author’s true knowledge of the desert. Be thinking of
possible names for your upcoming foals and plan to ask Bachir about
the significance of this name. You’ll find this a most informative
as well as enjoyable presentation. |
