As a child,
Faik Haciyev quickly realized a love for sculpting. In those early
yeras, he would create plaster models. From the time he entered
primary school, Faik began taking sculpting lessons. From 1974
through 1978, he received specialized art instruction, and from 1980
through 1985, Faik attended the Institute of Art in Baku,
Azerbaijan.
In addition to
sculpting, Faik also paints. His favorite subject to create is the
horse. Not only does he attempt to recreate the beauty of the
equine, but he also strives to add creativity and purpose to his
work. |
